Short Business Description
Penrose Wharf offers a variety of low-cost rental options in the heart of Cork City.
Long Business Description
The Penrose Wharf area was initially developed in the 1830s, by the St. George Steam Packet Company, though the name later changed to the City Of Cork Steam Ship Company. Sirius, the first steam-powered ship to cross the Atlantic, was built within the Wharf’s shipyard, in addition to several more notable vessels. The complex has managed to retain its strong history through keeping the original walls and other architectural features. The current Penrose Wharf complex was erected in 1990, with the business centre being constructed in two phases between 1998 and 2001.
